Classes ended at noon today for Jefferson County ninth-graders after sprinklers went off this morning.Public Relations Specialist for Jefferson County Schools Gale Woods said the sprinklers on the second and third floor of Jefferson High School’s ninth-grade complex went off earlier today for as yet unknown reasons.Woods said the extent of the damage from the water was also unknown as of Friday afternoon, but that the Superintendent of Jefferson County Schools Susan Wall was on the scene investigating the incident with officials.
