Cooperation between the Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority and the Jefferson County Council on Aging will make transportation easier for Jefferson County seniors. Director of Operations for PanTran Lynn Walker said the plan will allow her to put two more busses with new freedom funding on the road as new demand response buses. The next step is letting the public know about the plan with community outreach so they understand exactly what the new offerings are going to entail. Walker hopes the project will be starting on July first.
