The WVU womens basketball team will play in the pre-season NIT Tournament in November. The Lady Mountaineers will play Towson University in the first round. The other teams participating in the preseason tournament are Eastern Illinois, Ohio St., UTEP, Florida Gulf Coast, Arkansas-Little Rock, Oklahoma St., Winthrop, Georgia Tech, Chicago St., Bowling Green, North Carolina A&T, Marist, Northern Colorado, and New Mexico.
