A press conference is set for 3PM this afternoon at the Greenbrier Resort and reports are that officials with the PGA Tour and the Greenbrier Resort will announce that the Greenbrier County Resort will get a PGA Tour event next year. The event would take the place of the Buick Open and will be played August 5th through August August 8th 2010. The event would be called the Greenbrier Open and would be played at the Old White Course. The Greenbrier would sponsor the event with a purse of 6 million dollars.
