Ribbon Cut at Eastern Panhandle Free Clinic

The Eastern panhandle Free Clinic has settled into its new home and welcomed the community Wednesday with an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony.  Local and state officials gathered with staff, doctors and patients to celebrate the clinic’s new home at 1212 North Mildred Street in Ranson.  The 6,600 square foot building offers more exam rooms, an onsite pharmacy and more room to keep supplies. President of the Board of Directors at the Free Clinic George Kidwiler said the board has done much do diligence over the last year and a half to find the perfect place to move the clinic.  The building on Mildred Street fit their needs as far as cost and location.  About six different facilities were considered before the final decision was made. The local VFW held a flag raising ceremony before the ribbon cutting took place.(CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO) Afterwards representatives from Charles Town Races and Slots presented the clinic with a check for $6,000.  An open house took place in the morning from 9:00 until noon and again from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.                                                                                                                                                                mvc-052s.JPG mvc-044s.JPG mvc-045s.JPG mvc-043s.JPG WEPM’s Panhandle Live mvc-060s.JPG mvc-061s.JPG mvc-068s.JPG mvc-070s.JPG mvc-073s.JPG
