Caregivers from across the region were at the Martinsburg Mall Wednesday for a caregiver’s forum.   Agencies and groups that work to serve people in and out of the home and in a variety of ways were there to talk about their services, display their products and educate people about where they can go for help. The event was co-sponsored by Prettyman Broadcasting and West Virginia University Hospitals-East, who was on hand to talk about the programs they have to care for people.  Other traditional caregivers were on hand as well.   Also present were groups that you might not typically associated with care giving.   The Berkeley County Humane Society was there to talk about animal care and the role pets can play in rehabilitation. Rosedale Funeral Home and Brown Funeral Home also had representatives on hand to talk about their role in care giving. Regular Flu and Pneumonia shots were also given out during the event.
