Training has begun for the nearly 400 dealers planning to work at Charles Town Races and Slots. The casino plans to bring table games into the establishment by July 1st, which means dealers must be fully trained and ready by then. General Manager of Charles Town Races and Slots Al Britton says the length of training depends on which game a person is dealing. He says a game like blackjack wouldn’t take as long to be trained in as a game like craps would. Another addition to the casino was the hiring of new Assistant General Manager Bill Hayles to oversee instillation of 85 table games and about 20 poker tables. Britton says he is very excited with all of the new opportunities that lie ahead. Along with table games, the casino plans to add a two-level, 300 seat entertainment lounge called “Hollywood on the Roof”, as well as a new steakhouse called “Final Cut”.
