Area Stores Weather the Storm
As the area prepares for another big snow shoppers are flocking to area stores to stock up on the essentials. WEPM’s Cindy McGuire reported from Martin’s Food Store in Martinsburg Friday morning before the snow began to fall. She reported that management and staff were doing a good job of keeping shelves stocked despite large crowds throughout the week. Registers were open to accommodate potentially high volumes of people that could make a last-minute dash to the grocery for staples like bread and milk.
