New Interim Members on Berkeley County School Board

The Berkeley County Board of Education intorduced and swore in two new interm board members during their regular meeting Tuesday night.
 
Sherry Smith and Doris Griffin were brought in front of a crowd of around 35 people and participated in their first official school board meeting.
 
Smith, who has been working to help the school board for 30 years says she is very honored to be a part of the school board, and is excited to tackle some of the challenges ahead.
 
Griffin has spent the last 20 to 25 years working with students as well.
 
 
Both Smith and Griffin will give up their interm seats on the school board June 30th. Neither have plans for running to keep their seats after their term is up.
