The Eastern Panhandle Entrepreneurs Forum plans to have a meeting Thursday at 5:30 at The Purple Iris in Martinsburg. The main focus of the meeting will be to inform businesses about a few do’s and don’ts when it comes to insurance. Research Assistant with the Jefferson County Development Authority Whitney Birch says the forum is going to be very helpful for small business and new business owners. Speakers for the event include David Barton with the Shenandoah Valley Group and Mary Cay Hess from Mid-Atlantic Group. The forum is free and open to the public.
