Bunker Hill shooting under investigation, search for third suspect continues

BUNKER HILL, W.Va. — Two men have been charged after a shooting at a nightclub in southern Berkeley County.

West Virginia State Police responded to a shots fired call at Elysium Gentlemen’s Club along Winchester Avenue Saturday morning at 12:33. On scene, troopers learned two men exchanged gunfire in the nightclub’s parking lot after an earlier argument between two females.

Kameron Hymes, 22 of Winchester, was taken to Berkeley Medical Center for a gunshot wound in his right arm. Hymes has been charged with wanton endangerment and prohibited person (in possession of a firearm).

Kenyatta Weedon, 27 of Hagerstown, also arrested on scene. He has been charged with conspiracy to commit malicious wounding and prohibited person (in possession of a firearm).

Troopers are still searching for a third suspect who allegedly shot Hymes. If you have information, call West Virginia State Police at 304-267-0001.
