Martinsburg fugitive captured in South Carolina

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — U.S. Marshals confirm a fugitive on the run since April 18 has been arrested.

Johnathan Jennings, 24 of Martinsburg, was wanted in Berkeley County after removing his GPS ankle bracelet and fleeing.

Jennings was placed on bond with home confinement on March 25 for a first degree robbery charge.

The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force located Jennings in Graniteville, South Carolina. He was arrested without incident.

Jennings will be extradited back to West Virginia to face an escape charge.
