MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Part of a city street will temporarily close due to the construction of the new police department headquarters and municipal building.
The City of Martinsburg announced in a news release that the closure will be between West Race and College Streets and could last several weeks.
“The section of North College Street from the parking lot to West Martin Street will remain open and will be 2 way traffic to allow access to the lot. Please be aware of the temporary traffic pattern change and use caution when entering and exiting this portion of the roadway.”
Parking will be prohibited in the 200 block of North College Street, also for several weeks.
The new headquarters project is on track to be finished this winter.
