MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Work has started to replace a vehicular bridge over I-81 in Berkeley County.
West Virginia Division of Highways officials confirm starting Tuesday, the Rock Cliff Drive bridge over I-81 will be one lane.
A temporary traffic signal has been placed on each end of the bridge to control traffic flow.
Night time lane closures on I-81 will start January 20 for the project.
Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling Rock Cliff Drive and I-81 near the 16 mile marker.
The project is expected to be finished June 2020, according to DOH officials.
